Products / Petroleum Calibration Standards
Vintech Ltd provides Calibration Standards to the Petroleum and Lubricants Industry. We provide complete calibration standard sets for X-Ray Fluorescence methods including :
- ASTM methods for sulfur in petroleum products: D2622 and D4294.
- ASTM method for lead in gasoline: D5059.
- ASTM method for additive elements in lubricating oils and additives: D4927.
- Method for sulfur and chlorine in oils and waste oils.
- Method for sulfur, iron, nickel and vanadium in residual oils and crude oils.
In addition we provide stabilized single element organo-metallic standards that are used for:
- Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP), Atomic Emission (AE) or Atomic Adsorption (AA) analyses of wear metals, additives and contaminants in lubricating oils, residual oils, crude oils, turbine fuels, and gasoline.
- Formulation of calibration sets for the XRF ASTM and others methods. The organo-metallic standards are provided in concentrated form and are stabilized with proprietary method and stabilization solutions, and can be used to formulate stabilized sets of standards for the analysis of lubricating oils and residual oils for Nickel and Vanadium.
The organo-metallic standards are provided in concentrated form and are stabilized with proprietary method and stabilization solutions, and can be used to formulate stabilized sets of standards for the analysis of lubricating oils and residual oils for Nickel and Vanadium.
For our sulfur and metals (Fe, Ni, and V) standards, the concentration of Fe, Ni and V are independent of the sulfur concentration.
All standards are gravimetrically prepared with certified materials which are checked against NIST SRM'S when applicable.
